ANIMATED DIGITAL MENU BOARD - Restaurant Branding
CHALLENGE:
For this project we had to combine our designs from a restaurant branding project we completed in another class. We had to take our menus and design elements and incorporate them into a motion graphic menu board using royalty free videos to create visually appetizing appeal to the menu boards.
SOLUTION:
Using my restaurant branding Fig & Fern menus, I had touches of the purple and the green I had used in my branding. I used a green fig leaf as a slider featured in the message that spans across the video boards. I used a variety of elements in the text over the video to capture the viewers attention and used a slight wiggle on the featured food to give a gentle nudge for the viewer to look in that direction after with a message in a button that grows and goes in and out quickly to ensure the message is seen to help give the viewer the idea to add more to their order with an upselling feature. The menu features 3 highlights from the menu and a Featured Items section. For each board in the video, I tried something different to the treatment for the different messages in the video.
